Driving home from the supermarket after a sudden downpour I caught sight of a rainbow. My first reaction was to ignore it and keep my eyes on the road. Safety first and all that, but then I wondered... when was the last time I saw a rainbow? I couldn't remember, so it must have been ages.
As I spent as much time admiring it as was safe (still driving) I resolved to photograph it. Such rich colours, such a beautiful arc. This would be a suitable tribute for such a marvel of nature, too often ignored. As soon as I parked and rushed the shopping in, I took my camera out.
Unfortunately it was gone :-(
