Peter Hyman relates his experiences coming out of politics and into education. He was a close aide to Tony Blair, at the heart of the New Labour project, and with an interest in school improvement. An interesting read for me, working in education and with an interest in politics. Every story that Peter tells about his life in politics was a view through the looking glass for me. Every school based story was a view through the looking glass for him, but all very familiar to me.
Some interesting observations about politics and education, and I'd love to know what happened to Peter next. When is the sequel out, sir? I'll give you 9 out of 10 for this effort. Well done!
