Look what I found!

It has been just over three years since I read my first Dan Brown.  I started with the most successful of his books; The Da Vinci Code.  Enjoying this and the rest of his library too, I was excited to pick up his latest offering The Lost Symbol, and excited that the retailer was offering it at half price too.

It is an unmistakable Dan Brown story - his signature opening sequence raises expectations of another gripping page-turner.  It did not disappoint, although the epilogue was a tad epilong for me.

I have three recommendations - you'll need to select the category to which you belong;

  • If you haven't read Dan Brown's books before, I can heartily recommend this one.
  • If you have read him before, and liked his work, you'll like this too.
  • If you have read his books before and found them all a little same-y, then steer clear.  This one sticks to the formula like superglue.  I don't blame the man - it works for me and millions of others too.
