Screw loose

So we had a crisis this week - the bathroom door fell off. It's just one of those things - it happens to everybody. OK then you are right - it doesnt happen to everybody!

Since we had guests in the house, no immediate chance of re-hanging the door, and a well developed sense of decency, an emergency door was in order:

Those of you with a fabulous memory for nonsense may recognise this pattern. Yes indeed this is the matching curtain for the one that featured in my second ever blog post; Life in a computer game... housy woes and little triumphs. Now you see the same wonderful* pattern no matter whether you are travelling up or down the stairs.

It has quite quickly become traditional upon exiting the bathroom to declare "Tonight Matthew, I am going to be..."

I'm nearly done with repairs... but I cant get the screws all the way in... so we have a door again, but we cant close it! Doh!
