SETH LOSES HIS BIGGISH GEESE

Recommended music to accompany this blog: Let your love flow - Bellamy Brothers (choice inspired by Barclays)

This week at work was rather unusual for me as it mostly entailed sitting at my desk doing work. I know some of you might jump to the conclusion that I'm lazy and its about time I did some work... but the unusual bit for me was not so much the work, but being at my desk the whole time. I was working on a video for four out of five days. Since I usually flit about all over the place seeing lots of different people it was very strange to stay still for so long. I think I might have gone crazy without my office mates Paul and Leah. Here is the view from my desk;

This is Paul briefly pausing from hard work to pose for the photograph. He would probably want me to point out that all the messy looking stuff at the bottom of the pic belongs on my desk. Paul's desk is a sanctuary of tidiness while mine [most of the time] is more like a zoo after someone opened all the cages. Actually last week it was more like a spaceship helm or something. I had three computer screens on the go... three keyboards, one iPod, one control panel for speakers, two pairs of headphones, one phone, one video camera and endless wiring tangled between them all!

The highlight of life since my last post was of course the weekend - celebrating Dad's birthday. I dont have the family photo to post yet... so here is a record of the weekend in other photos...

We decided to nip out to IKEA for some curtains (a running theme of my blogs, I know!) and the sea decided to join us. Literally. There were times the water was so thick on the windscreen we couldnt see anything at all.

Best friends forever! Dad and Casper.

Fortunately the weather calmed down specially for my returnt trip to Liverpool. Cheers Mother Nature!

News Update - Life in a Computer
We still havent fixed the alarm, so it still beeps every time we move. Basically a solution hasn't knocked on the door and introduced itself, and we havent bothered looking either, and so the crisis continues unabaited. (Mind you there are worse crises that could happen... over the weekend something happened at my next-door-but-two-neighbour's. I arrived back to the sight of her back wall collapsed on top of everybody's bins, and a police cordon around the debris. Not sure whats going on there but I will keep you posted.)
