Time Lapse

I particularly enjoy playing around with time in my photographs.  A long exposure at nightime in the city can produce some fun results.  Here are some of my favourites;

Dark spokes
The Wheel of Liverpool, lit up in multicolour for the first time.

There will be many more of these sorts of photographs.  I'm also really interested in time lapse photography.  Here is one of my early attempt - a year and a half ago.  Unaided by any camera-controlling-technology, I set the camera up on a tripod, set a timer on my watch, and manually took a picture at regular intervals.  I think it was every 10 minutes so I wouldn't have to get up and down too much!

Thanks to David and Émilie, I now have an intervalometer for the camera!  I can set it to automatically take shots at regular intervals, without touching the camera or having to remember. Casper provided an ideal subject for testing the new toy, although I did expect more movement from him.  Watch his left ear carefully for the first twitch! What I didn't expect was his sudden departure, and the necessary intervention of his stunt double, Bruce.
